How do I use the Snake-Bite?
Unlike D handle shovels, you use the snake bite by standing upright and using gravity to throw it into the ground.
With the weight of the shovel to your advantage, thrust it downwards like a spear and break apart the soil and roots below.
If the soil or roots are especially tough, wedge the shovel back and forth to break up the surface and drive the shovel in once more.
Instead of climbing into the hole to continue digging deeper, use the length of the shovel to your advantage.

The Snake Bite has a unique combination of weight, length and material that enables it to dig faster and more effectively.
The Snake Bite has a longer than normal steel shaft, a fully welded back plate, two rivets instead of one, and a steel cap.
The weight of the shovel allows it to be thrown into the ground breaking up roots, clay, gravel, and sandstone while also being lightweight enough for you to dig all day long.
